Who we are
Judy's Helping Hands fosters respect for each resident as an individual, and services are delivered with a spirit of love and compassion. Each resident maintains her dignity and human rights regardless of her state in life, religious affiliation, color, national origin, economic status, ancestry or personal customs.
Our Programs
Our clinically-supported program provides comprehensive services including life skills classes, individual therapy, group counseling and financial literacy workshops that focus on six key areas of a woman’s development:
1. Mental Health
2. Physical Health
3. Financial Health
4. Spiritual Health
5. Legal Health
6. Empowerment
Residents are required to meet monthly with a case manager to develop permanent housing plans and with financial coaches to develop a financial plan. Residents also participate in counseling sessions (individual and group), and work with counselors to create an individual development plan that identifies and addresses the issues that are barriers to their independent living.
Ready to Move Forward?
Candidates for Judy's Helping Hands must meet the following criteria:
- Single, female, ages 18 & older
- Employed, employable or in school
- Willing to live drug and alcohol free
Once application or referral is received, applicants will be invited to participate in an interview at Judy's Helping Hands. Following the interview, an offer of admission will be extended or the referral agency will receive feedback regarding why an offer was not extended.
After an offer of admission is accepted, the resident will participate in a program orientation and will be provided bed and wardrobe assignments.

Every person deserves the fundamental right to safe and adequate housing, which is essential for preserving their physical well-being and dignity. The women we serve deserve a secure and nurturing environment where they can feel valued and loved. Our mission is made possible only through the generous donations of our community members. Without this support, we wouldn't be able to offer the vital services our residents need. It costs approximately $750 per month to provide shelter and care for each woman at our facility. Your contributions can make a profound difference in their lives.
